The 20-year old midfielder was shot dead on Saturday 3 January near his home while driving in Russia’s North Caucus .
BBC Sports confirmed
that the player’s car was hit by a machine gun while driving and he
passed on from wounds sustained from the incident while being rushed to
hospital.
Anzi have since sent their messages of condolence to the family of Gasan.

The
region of Dagestan where the incident took place and where Anzi is
based has been hit with Militant activities and is one of the most
insecure areas in Russia.
